Decade A Day

Starting to Pray the Rosary may seem like a difficult task at first but it is actually quite simple, especially if you start with a Decade a Day.  A Decade is to pray one Our Father, ten Hail Mary's, one Glory Be, and one O My Jesus while meditating on one of the Twenty Mysteries.

Joining us in praying a Decade a Day will be a perfect way to begin to integrate the Rosary into your life and prayerfully support our capital campaign.

How to pray one decade

1) Start with 1 "Our Father"

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

2) Pray 10 “Hail Marys"

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of death. Amen.

3) Pray 1 Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

4) Pray 1 O My Jesus

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen.
