UNIFY BEAUTIFY GLORIFY

Dear Parishioners,
I would like to introduce a unique opportunity at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. First, however, I would like to thank you for your continued prayers, support, and participation at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. It truly is the good people of our community that has made IHM the active and vibrant parish it is today! For your part in this, we are extremely grateful.
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and grade school was dedicated in 1954. At that time, the school auditorium was constructed to be used as a “temporary church,” with hopes that someday a true church would be built. In 2010, those hopes came to fruition with the completion of our new church building. Yet, future dreams were attached to the new church as well, that someday the basement would be completed to provide a true parish hall for the people, as well as the worship space would meet its full potential with painting, pendant lighting, and the completion of the upper stained-glass windows.
Now, with our new “UNIFY, BEAUTIFY, GLORIFY” campaign, we have the opportunity to make these hopes and dreams a reality.
On the exterior, our church appears to be dominantly built with bricks and mortar. Yet, we are more than bricks – we are a people of faith. By completing our church projects, we gain a greater ability to UNIFY our groups, organizations, and community, helping us to grow in fellowship and in faith in the Lord.
Our church is more than bricks – it is our sacred place to gather and worship. As we work to BEAUTIFY our church, this will enhance our ability to honor Mary, our Blessed Mother and patron of our parish, as well as worship her son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our church is more than bricks – through unifying our parishioners and beautifying our space, we grow in our ability to GLORIFY God as a people of God.
I once again want to deeply express my gratitude for your prayers, support, and participation at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, as well as for your consideration in being a part of our new campaign, UNIFY, BEAUTIFY, GLORIFY: More than bricks – building a legacy of faith. Thank you, and may God bless you for all you do!
